New Delhi, Aug 3 (PTI) President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday said providing a dignified life to persons with disabilities is the responsibility of the entire society.
“We have to ensure that they get proper education, employment opportunities, accessible public places and a safer and better life,” Murmu said at the golden jubilee celebrations of the National Federation of the Blind here.
In the Indian culture, she said, disability has never been considered a hindrance in acquiring knowledge and achieving excellence.
